This player is amazing. It’s clearly better than the first gen players, bdps1, even the bd91. there are a few little things to consider about blu ray. It SHOULDN’T play cds. if you have 1000 to spend on an Elite blu ray, then you should have good money, like 600 for a Cambridge azure or a like 24 bit cd player. blu ray lasers are very narrow, and will not read cds correctly, and to make them do so would be way more work than is considered worthwhile by the major manufacturers.

Works Fine, Got it because I have confidence in my Radio Shack battery operated one. Works well. Great for the price.

Great For The Price, Frankly, when I heard, I was very disappointed because I felt very morning, and planned to return soon. Then I made some changes to the settings and that sounded completely different.
Here are some of the changes I made, and that can help:
1) Insert the woofer on a business plan. I initially had it on my carpet and it looked terrible. I heard all the vibrations was not clear and sound. I have it on a piece of cardboard and now I'm beat.
2) The woofer has three wires coming from it (green, black and pink). Since I only have a headphone jack on my laptop, I just connect the green wire on it. This means that I always had to keep the nuts for a beautiful sound from all speakers. I bought a three-way thing and the headphones attached to the end of the three three wires from the woofer and the other end is connected to my laptop. The sound quality is improved and they sounded very bright and completely different from

Excellent Value For The Money, Sony manufactures high quality electronic products in general and will not be disappointed. This is a brand that usually when one considers veer towards electronics. Dual use is fantastic and I bought it for both purposes. You can easily connect to your home stereo with RCA cables included. The only disappointment was short as the connectors and cables have already been set for the turntable. Besides that, you connect & go - the sound is fantastic. The arm is automatically returned to the owner and the turntable is stopped when the album is ready to play on this page. Using the other, is of course the ability to capture and upload to your vinyl to your computer and then burn them to CD or MP3 player. The included software has many bells and whistles that I am not clear where. For a beginner like me, you can choose to have the software automatically removing the hisses and pops on vinyl and also found the audio before burning to a CD. For most experts, there are literally hundreds of effects, which means that one takes in the recording - which, reverb, fade, Phlange, etc. You can save the recording as a wave or MP3 files. Considering the price and ease of use, this product is a winner in both cases. The design and look of the hub is also beautiful - than some other turntables I have seen before deciding on this model. The others seemed big silver flying saucers. I highly recommend this hub as a whole.
